Golfclub Teutoburger Wald Halle / Westfalen e.V. – 18 hole course (Hcp 54) approx. 25 minutes by car from the Hotel Bielefelder Hof.

Hermannslauf

The Hermannslauf, the largest and most popular running event in East Westphalia, always takes place on the last Sunday in April. The unique route is 31.1 km long and starts at the Hermanns Monument near Detmold to the Sparrenburg in Bielefeld. The run is also popular and known far beyond our region. With max. 7000 competitors due to the space conditions at the Hermanns Monument and the Sparrenburg the participation is limited. In addition to the beginner athletes, the Hermannslauf is also a fixed date for top athletes. Our hotel Bielefelder Hof is an admired accommodation to be well-rested and well-strengthened for the run.

Terra-Wortmann-Open Tennis Tournament in Halle

The most important ATP 500 grass event in Germany takes place every June in the OWL Arena in Halle Westphalia. In 2019 Haller record champion Roger Federer celebrated his 10th tournament victory. In addition to world-class tennis, visitors will also experience first-class entertainment and catering around the OWL Arena.
