Your health, your safety and your well-being have top priority for us, the LFPI Hotels Group. The same applies to the protection of our employees. We are closely monitoring developments regarding the corona virus (COVID-19) and take your questions and concerns in this regard very seriously.
For this reason, we would like to provide you with information that may be helpful for you when planning your trip and staying in one of our hotels. A safe and clean stay, as well as the health of our employees and our guests, are our top priority, especially in these challenging times. We value maximum hygiene standards and want you to feel comfortable and safe when you visit one of our hotels. For this reason, we have subjected our hotels to a conformity test with the Corona catalog of measures by SGS Fresenius Institut GmbH and have been certified accordingly.
To contribute together, the following precautionary measures will help us:
- Wash and disinfect hands regularly
- Disinfection dispensers are available on all floors and in the entrance area
- Keep distance from other people if possible
- Our employees wear their mouth and nose protection all the time. There is no obligation to wear a mask for our guests.
- Plexiglass protection at our reception
- We recommend the usage of our elevators with your family members or room mates only
- Pay attention to the sneeze and cough label
- We enable contactless payment and a digital registration form to reduce contact times
BOOK FLEXIBLE AND HAVE A SAVE STAY
Choose from our offers with flexible cancellation conditions to be prepared for unexpected changes. Stay flexible and choose a room rate with free cancellation until 6 p.m. We also offer rates with breakfast included.
In order to avoid unnecessary contact, we have removed additional items such as pens, pads and decorative pillows from the rooms, true to the motto “less is more”. When you arrive, our reception staff will be there for you, answering any questions to make your stay in the hotel as pleasant as possible. Disinfection dispensers can be found on every floor by the elevators and in the entrance area. We ask you to use them regularly.
SAVE MEETINGS
We look forward to planning your conference together with you in compliance with hygiene and safty measures. We are happy to provide your participants with drinks and snacks or lunch.
Currently there are no longer restrictions on the planning of your event. Whether you wear a mouth and nose protection is your free decision. Furthermore it is no longer necessary to keep the distance of seats or lower the room capacity for your event.
Please contact us regarding the currant corona protective ordinance. We can realsise your desired meeting with certainty.
CATERING
Finally we have reopened our restaurant and bar. Our chef has designed a special variety of dishes and we are happy to share them with you. Our restaurant and bar ‘EssBar’ is open from Tuesday – Saturday starting at 6 p.m. until 11p.m. but food orders are taken until 9 p.m. only. On Sunday and Monday we offer refreshing drinks in our bar, hotel lobby or, if the weather allows it on our terrace from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.

We ask for your understanding if the opening hours of our catering area changes due to low hotel occupancy and low number of registrations. In case you would like to visit us with a bigger group, please contact us in advance to make a reservation.
YOUR QUESTIONS ABOUT COVID19
Is the hotel open?
Yes, the hotel is open.
Is there an obligation to wear a mask?
At the hotel is no mandatory to wear a mouth and nose protection. Our staff is wearing the mask nevertheless during their shift.
Do the employees wear gloves?
Our housekeeper wear gloves while cleaning the rooms and our kitchen staff while preparing the food.
How does the hotel take care of disinfection?
Disinfectant dispensers are located at the entrances and exits of the hotel. You will also find them on every floor of the hotel.
Handrails, door handles, elevator buttons and surfaces at the reception are regularly disinfected. Our employees are required to wash and disinfect their hands regularly.
What are the protection measures at the reception?
There are plexiglass shields at the reception to protect you and our employees. Furthermore we prefer debit or credit card payment. Pens and room keys are being disinfectet before we hand them over to you.
How can further guest contact be avoided?
We recommend the usage of our elevators with family members or room mates only.
How is a room cleaned?
Housekeeping is done with gloves. All items in the room will be cleaned and disinfected thoroughly.
Is breakfast offered?
We offer our breakfast buffet with some safety and hygiene measures to ensure the protection of our guests.
Is the fitness area open?
We ask for a reservation of a time slot in advance to make sure that not to many guests use our gym at the same time. It is open from 6 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Are the restaurant and bar open?
Our restaurant and bar ‘EssBar’ is open. Food is served from Tuesday – Saturday from 6 p.m – 9 p.m. Drinks will be served until 11 p.m. in our bar. On Monday and Sunday from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. we offer drinks only.
RESERVATIONS DURING THE COVID19 PANDEMIC
Am I currently allowed to travel to Bielefeld?
Yes you are allowed to travel to Bielefeld no matter if it is a business or a private trip. We do not need a negative corona test result or proof of vaccination anymore.
How can I book a room?

What happens if there is a travel ban due to Corona?
Stay flexible and choose one of our offers with a free cancellation until 6 p.m on the day of arrival. In case you have booked one of our discounted early booking rates there is no cancellation free of charge possible. Please do not hesitate to contact us in this case.
Can I have breakfast and dinner at the hotel?
We offer a rich breakfast buffet in the morning. Our restaurant and bar ‘EssBar’ is open again and offers seasonal and local dishes from Tuesday – Saturday 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Drinks will be served until 11 p.m. and on Sunday and Monday from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
